Instagram Photo Competition (17 to 25 year-olds) |
We are working on putting together a social history of Biggar during lockdown and as part of that we are inviting children and young people to write, draw or make a video about their experiences during lockdown. The competition is in four sections:
1. Write something e.g. a story, an article for a newspaper, a blog
3. Make a video (5 to 10 minutes) 4. Draw or paint a picture Entries will be judged in three age groups: 5 to 7, 8 to 11, and 12 to 16. There will be prizes of £10 each for the winner of each section in the 5 to 7 and 8 to 11 age groups and prizes of £20 for the winners of each section in 12 to 16 age group. Entries should be emailed to [email protected] Artwork can be photographed or left in the porch at 172 High Street. Each entry should come with the child/young person’s name, a contact telephone number and permission from a parent or carer to use the material in social media posts, a book, and/or a buried Time Capsule.
